About convicDID

convicDID is derived from the concept of being convicted for something you’re responsible for—even though it wasn’t your choice or action that caused it. That’s the all-day, every-day reality for those with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), a trauma-born mental illness that’s far more common than it’s diagnosed.

Why the gap?
Because DID is designed to be a secret.
To protect the host from harm, the system must stay hidden—from the host, and from the world.

I didn’t set out to build a platform. I set out to understand the storm I was living in—and to make sure no one else had to go through it alone.
I’ve spent countless hours alone, trying to piece together puzzles with missing pieces.
Now I share what I’ve learned, in hopes that we can get attention, spark change, and make this journey less isolating for others.

My husband is a DID system. That sentence alone carries a lifetime of decoding, heartbreak, breakthroughs, and tactical love. I learned to track switches in real time. I learned to speak symbolic language. I learned to listen differently. And I learned that most people—including many mental health professionals—have no idea what they’re looking at when dealing with a system. Physicians and Therapists cause more harm than good in many situations, all due to lack of knowledge and understanding.

As someone who supports a system, everything you do matters.
Every word, every action, every reaction.
It’s easy to unintentionally trigger a full system shutdown—and the consequences can be extreme.
So if you choose to stay, make sure you understand what you’re stepping into.
It’s hard work. It’s not for everyone.
But for me? It’s absolutely worth it.

So I built this. Correction – I’m building this.

convicDID is a trauma-informed, system-literate advocacy platform. It’s for partners, survivors, and insiders who need real language, real tools, and real-time support. It’s not clinical. It’s not sanitized. It’s survival.

Here you’ll find:

This is not a safe space for denial, blame, or control.
This is a fluent space for loyalty, clarity, and growth.

I built this from the outside—by listening differently, surviving quietly, and refusing to look away.

I hope to add a forum where supporters can connect with one another, and eventually launch a podcast as well.
The vision is big—and honestly, overwhelming to put into words.
If you have the desire, means, or ideas and want to collaborate in any way, please feel free to reach out. Nothing beats a failure but a try!

Welcome to convicDID.

Blog

My two blogs :
ConvicDID – Stories of my experience, from the outside, as a supporter without support, raw uncut struggles I faced in hopes of helping others not have to.
Storm Tracker – Real scenarios / conversations broken down and torn apart, interpreted from the outside, that occur with my husband. Nothing here is “confirmed” but the stories are true and factual, followed by the breakdown of me interpreting it (Always after the fact, often far too late)
